Adams County Speedway Competitor Steven Gibilisco Funeral Notice

CORNING, IA (Sept. 4) - Adams County Speedway competitor Steven Gibilisco suffered a heart attack while competing in the B feature of the hobby stock division Saturday night at the speedway. Adams County Speedway fire and rescue began immediate care for Gibilisco and he was transported to Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Corning where he passed away. Steven Gibilisco, age 46 of Northboro, Iowa passed away on Saturday night, September 1, 2007 at the Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Corning, Iowa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, September 6, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Shenandoah, Iowa. Cremation will follow the service with a private family burial at a later date. Visitation with the family will take place Wednesday evening, September 5, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Selby-Kirsch Funeral Chapel in Shenandoah.
