I-70 Speedway Announces Saturday Night “October Series”

ODESSA, MO (Sept 3) – Officials at I-70 Speedway announce the “October Series”, scheduled for Saturday nights, on the Dirt Track, in the month of October. “The weather is just too nice in October not to be racing”, commented I-70 Speedway Promoter, Brad McDonald. “So we have been working with area drivers who wanted to extend the racing season a little and the “October Series” is what we came up with”, concludes McDonald.

The October races will feature the I-70 Sprint Cars (two rules; 1. full size sprint car and 2. no wings) every Saturday night in the month of October with a mix of Dwarf Cars/Mod Lites, Stock Cars, Modifieds, Sport Compacts, Farm Trucks, SportMods/B-Mods and Late Models scheduled on different Saturdays through out the month.

The “October Series” will begin on Saturday night October 6th and run each of the four Saturdays in October. Pit Gates will open at 4:00, Registration will close and Hot Laps will begin at 5:30, with racing at 6:15. Admission prices for Adults will be $10.00; Children ages 6 to 11 will be $5.00 and Children 5 and under will be admitted for free. Pit Passes will be $20.00 and there will be no entry fees to compete.
