Deery Brothers title sponsorship of IMCA Late Model series
reaches 16th straight season
BURLINGTON, Iowa (Feb. 4, 2007) – The Deery Brothers Automotive Group returns
for a 16th consecutive season as title sponsor for the IMCA
Sunoco Late Model series.
Deery Brothers will provide a portion of the point fund to be paid to the top 10
drivers in final Summer Series point standings. The tour
opens April 7 at Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City.
Seventeen dates are on the 2007 Deery schedule, including the first ever visit
to South Dakota and Park Jefferson Speedway on June 12.
The 21st annual tour wraps up with the $10,000 to win Pepsi USA Nationals at 34
Race way in West Burlington Sept. 14-15.
Three hundred races have been held through the series’ first 20 seasons. Jeff
Aikey won the fifth tour title of his career in 2006.
“Just as Deery Brothers is the name by which all other car dealerships are
measured, so too is the Deery Brothers Summer Series
for Late Model racing,” said Tour Director Kevin Yoder. “With the longevity of
the series and the sheer number of events that have been
held over the past two decades, we are excited to partner with Deery Brothers
for the next 300 races.”
Deery Brothers has more than 3,000 new and pre-driven cars, trucks and vans at
outlet centers in Burlington, Maquoketa, Waterloo and
Cedar Falls. In addition to sales of new and pre-driven vehicles, Deery also
offers service, parts and bodyshops, along with leasing and fleet arrangements.
