34 Raceway Deery postponed; series to open Sunday at Quincy

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (April 13) – The bad luck news on this Friday the 13th is that there will be no Deery Brothers Summer Series race on Saturday the 14th.

Tomorrow night’s tour event for IMCA Sunoco Late Models at 34 Raceway in West Burlington has been postponed. Wet conditions in the pit area prompted the decision this evening by promoter Jeff Laue, who plans to announce a rescheduled date for later this spring.

The 21st annual series is now set to open Sunday, April 15 at Quincy, Ill., Raceway. Pit gates will open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 6:30 p.m.
