Quincy Raceways Opens Up Tire Rule for Modifieds for UMP 
Summer Nationals Race on July 10
QUINCY, IL (July 9) - Quincy Raceways biggest race of the year is on tap for 
Tuesday, July 10 when the “Hell Tour”, the UMP Summer Nationals makes its twenty 
fifth stop of the 2007 extravaganza. The FASTENAL 40 main event will pay $6000 
to the winner with at least $500 guaranteed to all main event starters.
This years Summer Nationals series is shaping up to be a tight points battle 
between Don O’Neal, Dennis Erb and Mike Marlar with Wes Steidinger still giving 
chase to the leaders. Some of the other drivers expected to compete are Rodney 
Melvin, Jeep VanWormer, Randy Korte going against some of the areas best in 
Denny Woodworth, Mark Burgtorf, Brian Kenning and Boone McLaughlin. 
The Miller Lite Modifieds are also on the race card going for $500 to win as 
well as the Hobby Stocks competing for $300 to win. The normal Quincy Raceways 
Tire Rule has been suspended for this night only as all legal UMP, IMCA, USRA 
and other Sanction Tires will be legal for this race only. 
The Modifieds and Hobby Stocks will not have any entry fee for the added money event for them. The pit gates open at 4, grandstands at 5, Hot Laps at 6:30, qualifying at 7 followed by racing action at 7:30pm. Adult tickets are $18, Seniors $16, Teens 11-15 $10, Kids 6-10 $5 and Pit Passes $30.
