LebanonMidway Fast Factory 50 Getting Alot of Notice

LEBANON, MO. (Feb. 10, 2007).-The running of the 2nd annual Fast Factory 50 on April 20th and 21st at the Midway Speedway has been getting alot of talk especially in Central and Southwest Missouri recently.

Last season over 50 teams checked into the Midway as veteran Todd Cook of Rolla, Mo pulled off the surprise win putting $5,000 in his race team by holding off Ark.hotshoe Richie Tosh and Tony Jackson Jr as drivers from 4 states were on hand with 14 cars running on the lead lap at the finish.

Recently at the Bodees Trade show and Auction in Sedalia, the Midway schedule and Fast Factory 50 seemed to be the talk.

"Paying $5,000 to win and $500 to start in a very popular class that normally pays weekly shows around $250-300 makes the weekly racer take notice. "Quoted owner Harold Armstrong.

Action will begin on Friday Night April 20th with qualifying heats for the Factory Stocks with each heat race winner automatically locking them into the Sat Night Main Event while they will redraw for the pole dash to help set the front rows. There will also be a quaifying feature which will help lock 14 drivers total into the Sat Main. Also Super Stocks and Bombers will be competing for Bonus points on the Friday events with heats and features.

Sat Night the final rounds of heats will be run with each heat winner will advance with a last chance event to help set the 26 car field.The Final 2 spots will be reserved for track provisionals as the highest 2 drivers from the tracks 2006 points standing who haven't qualified for the 50 lap Feature.

Sat Night will also feature the Show-Me Racin Series LateModels as defending Series Champion Ken Essary, Leslie Essary, Jeremy Kelley, Kevin Henson, Jimmy Greenway,Jim Fulp and many others will be on hand.

Friday Night action will see the gates open at 5pm with Hotlaps at 7 and Racing at 8.

Sat night Action will move-up half and hour with starting time set for 7:30.

Entry Fee for the 2nd Annual Fast Factory 50 will be $100 while pitpasses will be $30 each night.
