McCook Speedway adds Sunday night August 12 to their schedule

McCOOK, NE (Aug2) - Speedway has received approval to add Sunday night August 12 to their schedule after the race night scheduled for July 13 was shortened by rain. The gates will open at 5 PM, CDT, and the races will start at 7 PM, CDT. People who were at the July 13 show must bring back their tickets or armbands to get into the show without paying admission again. Those that were not there that night or do not have their ticket or armband will pay standard admission: $8 for adults, $4 for kids 6 - 12, and free for children under 6. Pit passes are $20.

August 12 will be the continuation of Fan Appreciation Night. Prizes that were not given away on July 13 will be given away then. There will also be a candy toss. McCook Speedway is on the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in the northwestern region of McCook, on the corner of West 5th and “O” Streets. The classes that run are IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks, Classic Modifieds, and Mini Trucks
