OSKY RAINED OUT AUG. 22; USRA LATE MODELS TO BE RESCHEDULED

OSKALOOSA, Iowa (Aug. 22) — The Wild, Wild Wednesday show featuring the USRA Late Models and USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Southern Iowa Speedway has been rained out.

Officials will announce a make-up date very soon for the USRA Late Model program, which was to be the first of a tripleheader this week. The USRA Late Models will be at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway this Friday and the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway on Memphis, Mo., on Saturday.

Next Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the Mahaska County Half-Mile Monster, Pepsi presents the USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series featuring MUSCO Lighting USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7:30.

Coming up on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 14-15, the Southern Iowa Speedway will host the annual MUSCO Lighting Fall Challenge for the last show of the year at Osky with two big nights and two complete shows featuring Modifieds, Stock Cars, B-Mods and Hobby Stocks.
