LEBANON, Mo. (Oct 2) - Over 50 Legends Teams checked into the Lebanon Midway Speedway this past weekend for the running of the 11th annual Dirt-track Legends Nations and wild action headlined all 3 classes along with the local racing action.

On Sat night Sept 29 the Semi-Pro class took to the Midway for the 30 lap Championship feature with 26 cars ready to rumble.

Joplin,Mo 14 year old charger Tyler Scott brought the star-studded field to the green with Rob Caho of Minn giving chase followed closely by National Champion Nathan Speten of North Dakota. On lap 4,Tanner Berryhill brought out the yellow with his car stalled in turn 2.On the restart,Tyler Scott again shot to the lead with Caho,Speten and Joplin's Dave Comer going the lead pack followed closely by Kara Clarke. On lap 17,the yellow waved for Justin Comer as his night ended with problems after running 6th.On the restart again Scott grabbed the top spot with Caho still putting on pressure until lap 19 when Speten moved into 2nd place and began applying pressure to the rookie driver. On lap 22 of the 30 lap feature, Scott Houdeshell moved into the runner-up spot as the yellow waved for Brian Weitzel as his bid for a top 10 ended with problems and top 5 running Dave Comer had to restart at the rear after going into the pits.On the restart,Tyler Scott would lead the next 3 laps until a move to the outside groove while lapping traffic would put the race leader in the wall off turn 2 ending his bid for the win.On the restart,Speten shot to the front and withstood a last lap move by Caho to record the win with Brian Peterson,Clarke, and Missouri driver Rob Watson completing the top 5 with 13 cars running on the lead lap at the end.

The Masters division features racers 40 and Older and Wisconsin's Eric Barth found the fast way around the Midway Oval as he dominated the 30 lap feature by leading all but 1 lap.The race for the runner-up spot was tight between Tim Brockhouse,Veteran Open-wheeler Will Cagle,Ivan Sailer and Keith Meyer as National Champion Randy Kissinger provided alot of excitement as he rolled his car on lap 4 and then came charging back to finish 7th.

The Pro class would provide alot of fireworks as 2006 National Champion Steve Nederostek would grab the early command with Spencer Wilson close behind along with Jordan Paschal and Misouri's Park Jones. On lap 10,Wilson and Paschal would both get together sending both to the back moving Pat Pennington to the runner-up spot challanging the leader Nederstek. On lap 12,Jones and Joel Wyttenback got together sending them to the rear of the field while National Champion Cam Schafer was recovering from 2 flat tires and moving through the field.Things really turned around as on lap 17, Pennington and leader Nederstek touched and both cars were sent to the rear giving the lead to Bethany Wyttenback. That lasted 2 laps as Jordan Paschal moved around the young lady to take command as Paul Horton was holding a solid 3rd place. On lap 22,Park Jones was charging and moved into 2nd place, however problems sidelined him on lap 28 allowing Paschal to grab the victory followed closely by Joel Wyttenback,Joey Johnson, Cam Schafer and early leader Nederstek.
