Aledo Raceway Park fills out 25-event Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders Grind

BURLINGTON, IA (Feb. 2, 2007) – Plans have been finalized with Stuart Motorsports, Inc. and Aledo Raceway Park to bring Sprint Cars back to the Mercer County Fairgrounds. ARP will host the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders twice in 2007. The inaugural appearance will take place on Friday, May 4, and the series returns on Friday, June 1.

“I feel that we have put together an aggressive schedule that will be very exciting for our members and our many fans,” said Jerry Glasgow, new SIA Chairperson. “We will be traveling to three new tracks and we have aligned ourselves with six new promoters for 2007. One of our goals this season is to increase our fan base and I believe that our 2007 schedule will help us accomplish this goal.”

Aledo Raceway Park is a ¼-mile, fairgrounds oval located roughly 30 minutes south of the Quad Cities. In all, 25 events are set for this year’s version of the Invaders. In just nine weeks, Morgan County Raceway will play host to Round 1.
