Independence to host Mastersbilt seminar January 25-26

INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (Dec 10) - Racers looking to get an early edge on the 2008 racing season will have a chance to receive some off-season education in January. That's when Keith and Tader Masters of Mastersbilt Race Cars will conduct a seminar at the Heartland Acres Agribition Center in Independence.

The event, scheduled for Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26, will offer education on dirt late models, modifieds and stock cars. Chassis set-up, suspension and a variety of other topics will be discussed.

Aside from Keith and Tader Masters, other guest speakers are scheduled to be on-hand. They include Brian Lillie of eCreative Group Motorsports Marketing, a technical representative from Intercomp Scales and MasterSbilt shock specialist John Schulte.

A social event will be held from 7-10 p.m. on Friday night. The seminar will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lunch will be provided.

The cost to reserve seats is $169 per attendee. No tickets will be sold at the door and no refunds will be given. Individuals are required to pre-register. Credit cards or personal checks are accepted.
