STAR STUDDED WEEKEND IN STORE AT MACON SPEEDWAY

MACON, IL May 25) - Memorial Day Weekend at Macon Speedway is a star-studded 
extravaganza. Kids will be the stars on Saturday night, May 26 when Macon hosts 
Kids Night featuring Quacky the Clown and Box Car Races. Kids will race their 
box car creations during intermission. Quacky the Clown will keep both kids and 
grownups laughing.
Hogan Grain/Kubota Sportsman racers will be geared up for a special $500 to win 
purse plus a qualified spot in the Wynn’s Springfield Mile Sportsman race to be 
held in August. This race is the second in the FAST FIVE Racer Appreciation 
Series that highlights all five divisions at Macon Speedway.
On Saturday, May 26, gates at Macon Speedway will open at 5:00 PM. Racing starts 
at 7:00. Kids Club meets this Saturday at 6:00 PM. General Admission is $10.00 
for weekly races at Macon Speedway. Children 12 and under are admitted free when 
accompanied by an adult. Pit admission is $25. Full season reserved seats are

NASCAR Stars top off Memorial Day Weekend on Monday, May 28. Sponsored by Jack 
Daniels, Clint Bowyer, Kevin Harvick, Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace will all be 
on hand for fans to meet and watch in action on the 1/5 mile dirt oval. Gates 
open at 3:00 PM. Caps courtesy of Jeg’s will be given to the first 500 fans 
through the gate. An autograph session takes place from 4:30 to 5:30 PM on a 
first-come, first-served basis. Racing starts at 6:30 PM. The Monday night 
program features the Northern All Stars Late Model Series with a $2000 top 
payout and the UMP Modifieds racing for $600 to win. Add NASCAR drivers to the 
field in each division and the competition is fierce.
Tickets for the Night of NASCAR Stars sponsored by Jack Daniels on May 28 are 
$25 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. All seats are reserved. Tickets

Macon Speedway points leaders through May 19,2007 are Mike Pickering in the 
Hogan Grain/Kubota Sportsman, Kyle Logue in the BARBECK Communications 
Modifieds, Kyle Logue in the Late Model division, Steve Ewing in the Street 
Stocks and Joe Reed in the 4 Cyl Hornets.
Weekly racing at Macon Speedway features five UMP sanctioned divisions: Late 
Model, Modified, Sportsman, Street Stock and Hornet. New for 2007 is the 
addition of the C.A.R.S. Late Models.

Sargent purchased Macon Speedway in January of 2007.
