Benefit planned March 18, 2007 for Al Oskvig
MASON CITY, Iowa (Jan. 6, 2007) - A benefit for Al Oskvig, the track employee 
injured during a race program last year at I-35 Speedway, will be held Sunday, 
March 18 in the All Seasons Building, at the North Iowa Fairgrounds in Mason 
City.
The breakfast and bake sale run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The auction, conducted by 
Steve and J.J. Wise, begins at 11 a.m.

Oskvig, from Williams, underwent multiple surgeries and a lengthy stay in the 
hospital while recuperating from injuries sustained when he was hit and run over 
by a car during the May 28 show at I-35.
Al is also our IMCA Late Model Tech Inspector, and been an official at Webster 
City since 1981.
