Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders Storm Steel Shake-Up Challenge Announced

BURLINGTON, IA (May 7) - The Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders Association, based in Burlington, Iowa is pleased to announce that Storm Steel, Cedar Rapids, Iowa has signed on to sponsor the $1,000 to Win “Storm Steel Shake-Up Challenge”. The eight car, eight lap dash will be held on Championship night, September 22nd, at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa.

The top eight drivers in Shake-Up Dash points going into Championship night who are qualified based on participation in 75% of the completed events will be eligible to participate in the Storm Steel Shake-Up Challenge. Both the driver and the car participating in the Challenge must be qualified.

“Throughout the season, our Shake-Up Trophy Dash is an exciting race for our drivers and fans, and we have developed the “Super Shake-Up Dash” at each event as a great marketing tool for our advertisers,” stated Jerry Glasgow, SIA Chairman; “Now with the involvement of Storm Steel, we are able to take the top eight drivers in dash points only and have a ‘challenge race’ to showcase those drivers on Championship night.
