Increased purse offered during Climate Seal Insulation Indee 
Open Series Finale at Independence Motor Speedway
INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (Aug 7) - Regular competitors in the Climate Seal Insulation 
Indee Open Series will have a chance to drive to a bigger payday during the 
Indee Open Series Finale. The event, scheduled for Wednesday, August 15, at 
Independence Motor Speedway, will close out the 2007 series schedule.
Late model drivers will compete for a minimum of $2,000-to-win, however those 
drivers competing in multiple series events this season will have the 
opportunity to take home a larger winner's share. Drivers who will have competed 
in three series events will have a shot at a $3,000-to-win payday, a four-race 
attendance offers $4,000-to-win, five races equals a $5,000 winner's share and 
those drivers with perfect attendance in all six series races will compete for 
$6,000-to-win.
Fourteen late model drivers have perfect attendance through the first five 
series events and are eligible for the $6,000 payday. They include Jeff Aikey, 
Jeff Bair, Darin Burco, Roger Ciesielski, Darin Duffy, Jill George, Jeremy 
Grady, Dale Hackwell Jr., Kevin Kile, Kurt Kile, Curt Martin, Terry Neal, Chad 
Simpson and Travis Smock.
Drivers eligible for $5,000-to-win include Jamie Aikey, Levi Benn, Darrel 
DeFrance, Bobby Hansen, Ace Ihm, Scott Megonigle, Jon Passick, Dale Stolte and 
Leon Thomsen.
Late model drivers eligible for a $4,000 payday include Tyler Bruening, Mitch 
Current, Rick Dralle, Cam Granger and Brian Lillie. Those eligible for 
$3,000-to-win include Jerry Dedrick, Charlie McKenna, Ed Sanger and Chris 
Simpson.
Neal opened the season with a victory in Independence while Chad Simpson earned 
two victories and Ihm scored back-to-back wins earlier this year.
Likewise, the modified division also offers a chance at a larger payday. 
Modified drivers will compete for a minimum of $700-to-win, however drivers who 
will have competed in three events will race for $1,050-to-win, a four-race 
attendance offers $1,400-to-win and five races equals $1,750-to-win. Modified 
drivers with perfect attendance in the six-race series will be competing for 
$2,100-to-win.
Six modified drivers have perfect attendance through the first five series 
events and are eligible for the $2,100-to-win. They include J.D. Auringer, Ron 
Barker, Jerry King, Kevin Pittman, Joey Schaefer and Mark Schulte.
Drivers eligible for $1,750-to-win include Dennis Betzer, Craig Haupt, Layne 
Meyer and Keith Pittman. 
Modified drivers eligible for the $1,400 payday include Dan Bohr, Mike Burbridge, 
Nate Caruth, Mike Darnall, Darin Duffy, Shawn Ryan, Matt Sweeney and Darrin 
Walch. Those eligible for $1,050-to-win include Jason Bakkum, Corey Dripps, Troy 
Hansmeier, Mark Massey, Jacob Seegmiller, Mike Weidemann, Steve Wetter and Leon 
Wilson.
Bohr leads the modified field with two feature wins this season. Barker, 
Schaefer and Darnall have also earned trips to victory lane.
Stock cars and B modifieds will also take part in the August 15 event. 
Gates will open at 4 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 6:30 and racing to begin 
at 7. Grandstand admission is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors, $8 for students 
12-17 and $2 for children 6-11. Kids five and under will be admitted free. All 
unaccompanied teens will be required to pay the adult admission price. Pit 
passes are $25 each.
