Midwest All Stars Return to Jacksonville, IL on August 31st
JACKSONVILLE, IL (Aug 28) The O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series returns to Central Illinois for its second appearance at the Morgan County Speedway in Jacksonville on Friday night, August 31st. The “Best in the Midwest” treated fans to an exciting program of big-time wheel-to-wheel racing excitement featuring winged sprint cars earlier this summer, with Springfield’s Joey Moughan capturing the feature win.
There will be a strong flavor of local talent in the field, including two-time series feature winner Jimmy Hurley, Rob Standridge, who is currently second in the series point standings, and his brother Jeremy Standridge, twenty-year-old hotshoe A.J. Bruns, Ryan Bunton, and Tiffany Wyzard.. Jerrod Hull, of Sikeston, MO., continues to lead the series standings by just sixty-nine points. Also in action will be Missouri’s Tim and Joey Montgomery. Over one hundred and twenty drivers have participated in series events this season and a strong field of cars is expected.
Tickets are only $20.00 for general admission. Also, check out the RacersInsight.com in-car camera booth in the grandstand during the races.
