MARSHALLTOWN, IA. (April 1) - Everyone is invited to the Marshalltown Speedway “Open House” on Wednesday night April 4th. “Since the rainy and cold weather took the Frostbuster away from us, I just want everyone to see our new concession stand, I am inviting everyone out to see just what the 50/50 program is doing for our race fans,” said promoter Toby Kruse.

“So many volunteers and workers have been working very hard through the month of March, I just want everyone to see the outcome first hand. The track was ready, everything was ready, I’m just like everyone else were looking forward in seeing race cars on the track, so what a better way to do it, but to have an open house.”

The racetrack will be open for controlled practice starting at 7:00 to 9:00. All classes are welcome and all fans are welcome to see just what everybody’s been talking about.

The regular racing season will get started on Friday April 6th. Pit gates will open at 5:00, grandstands will open at 5:30, hot laps will begin at 6:45 and the first race of the season rolls off at 7:30.
