Rick Wallis Takes His First Ever Race Brothers Show-Me Victory

Show-Me Series (July 28) -  The Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series was in action near Siloam Springs, AR at West Siloam Speedway. An enormous crowd was on hand to watch the Show-Me late models race in Siloam for the second time this season. In the end the 113 of Rick Wallis came away with his first ever Show-Me win. The first heat was won by the 5e of Leslie Essary. Heat number was taken by the 113 if Rick Wallis. Jim Fulp in the 00 took the win in heat 3.

All 23 cars transferred into the A main. The 113 of Rick Wallis would start on the pole with the 60 of Darrin Barton to his outside. The green flew and Wallis jumped right out to the lead. The 7a of Justin Asplin was in second and coming on strong. Lap three brought out a caution for the 31 of Ron Johnson who spun in turn two. The 56 of Conner Ward and the 00 of Jim Fulp were quickly moving up through the pack. Wallis came upon lap traffic around lap eleven. Lap fifteen brought out another caution for the 5m of Tyler Milner and the the 98 of Ken Patterson. Wallis was still in the lead followed by Asplin, Fulp, Ward, and Leslie Essary. On the restart the 00 of Fulp managed to pass Asplin for the second position. The final caution of the night was on lap nineteen for the 13 of Kevin Patrick. The green fell and Wallis held off Fulp to take the win. The top five following the 113: the 00 of Jim Fulp, the 7a of Justin Asplin, the 56 of Conner Ward, and the 5e of Leslie Essary.
