NCRA Announces Late Model Schedule

PARK CITY, Kan. (March 12, 2007) – The O’Reilly NCRA, presented by ICM/Ethanol, has announced 16 shows on its late model series schedule for 2007.

A return to Enid Speedway Park in Enid, Okla., for two shows highlights the 2007 schedule. Enid is the final stop of a five-day, five-event swing through three states leading up to the Fourth of July. The series wraps up their season with a stop at Enid’s Winter Nationals on Oct. 27-28.

After a year’s absence, the late models will stop at the Kansas State Fairgrounds during the 51st Annual Hutchinson Nationals on July 19. But that’s just a warm-up for the two-day Pump ‘N’ Pantry Late Model Nationals at Mid-Nebraska Speedway, July 20-21, at Doniphan, Neb.

Lincoln County Raceway in North Platte, Neb., will host its first-ever NCRA Late Model show on June 29, the kick-off of the five-day string leading up to the Fourth of July. After North Platte, the series moves east to Junction Motor Speedway on June 30, then south along I-135 into Kansas. Next stop is the famed Belleville High Banks on July 1, 81 Speedway in Park City on July 2, and the finale July 3 at Enid Speedway Park.

As has been the custom the last few years, the late models open over Memorial Day weekend, with a May 25 show at Mid-Nebraska Speedway followed by a May 27 show at Nebraska Raceway Park at Greenwood, Neb. They will also race in the Cornhusker State on Aug. 3-4 at Junction Motor Speedway at McCool Junction, Neb.

The traditional Labor Day weekend double-header is still on their 2007 schedule, stopping at 81 Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 1, and Belleville on Sunday, Sept. 2.
