O’Reilly POWRi National Midgets in Nebraska over Memorial Day Weekend

MILLSTADT, IL (May 22) -  The O’Reilly POWRi National Midgets are back in action for a “Double Points” Memorial Day Race Weekend on the fast semi-banked, 3/8-mile Junction Motor Speedway dirt oval in McCool Junction, NE. The POWRi Midgets are coming off a big weekend, which saw Tony Stewart’s Driver Rick Stenhouse,Jr top a stellar field of 52 entries at Tri-State Speedway in an event co-sanctioned with USAC .

POWRi points leader Mike Hess leads the way into Friday’s event with a number of top contenders expected including California’s Danny Stratton, Colorado drivers Russ Harper, Tony Rossi, Chris Sheil, Oklahoma’s Cody Brewer, also Brad Loyet, Donnie Lehmann, Brett Anderson, Tim Siner, Dave Camfield,Jr, Craig Carey, Rich Camfield, Austin Brown along with several other drivers expected for this 2-day event.

The Friday May 25th 'High Banks Hall of Fame Night' race will feature the POWRi Midgets, ASCS & NCRA Sprint Car Series.
Saturday May 26th 'Walmart Bike Night' will have the POWRi Midgets, Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby stocks as the support classes.

Pit Gates open at 12:00 p.m , Spectator gates will open at 5:00pm.and Hot laps at 6:00 p.m. with racing at 7:00 p.m. both nights.

Junction Motor Speedway is located off I-80 Exit 353, then 5.6 miles south on US 81, then 0.3 mile west on CR 4 (Lushton Rd.), then north.
