Monty Strader Memorial Postponed

MACOMB, IL (June 19) - Macomb Raceway makes decision to reschedule memorial event. After listening to many driver and fan concerns about the reschedule date of the Monty Strader Memorial, to be held June 20 at Macomb Raceway, management has decided to postpone the event and reschedule it for the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, September 3.

After hearing numerous concerns about the reschedule date, management decided it would be in the best interest of racers, fans and the facility to postpone the event. With other races in the area and extra point races facing local drivers throughout the upcoming week, it was decided that the race would not be feasible at this time.

Along with the event?s sponsor, Strader Farms, Macomb Raceway has decided to move the event and make it a special Modified and Late Model event. Macomb Auto Parts Modifieds will still run for $1,000 to win, while the purse for the Late Models is yet to be determined but will be at least $750 to win.
