NATIONAL SPRINT CAR MUSEUM OFFERS SPECIAL “SPRINTWEEK”
AND “NATIONALS” PASSES FOR VISITORS


KNOXVILLE, IOWA (Aug 4) - The non-profit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation is offering sprint car fans two special admission passes for both the Southern Iowa SprintWeek ($10; August 2-11) and the Knoxville Nationals ($5; August 8-11). Daily admission to the museum remains at $3 per adult, and $2 per student or senior citizen. The special passes are being offered to allow visitors to tour the museum every day at a low overall rate, especially in light of the fact that the museum will be offering different moderated “Fan Fair” forums daily.

The scheduled Knoxville Nationals Fan Fair sessions are as follows:

Wed., 11 a.m. – “Photographing Sprint Car Racing – Tips from the Shooters” with host Scott Watson & guests: Mike Arthur (California), Tim Aylwin (Texas), Dave Hill (Iowa), Dennis Krieger (Iowa), Conrad Nelson (Iowa), Ryan Northcote (Iowa) & others

Wed., 1 p.m. – To Be Announced (TBA)

Wed., 3 p.m. – “Des Moines Speedway 1915-1916” with host Larry Ball, Jr.

Thurs., 11 a.m. – “World of Outlaws Sprint Car Racing” with host Johnny Gibson (WoO) & guests

Thurs., 1 p.m. – None (due to “Members Only” VIP Reception with Doug Wolfgang)

Thurs., 3 p.m. – “Eastern Sprint Car Racing” with host Bruce Ellis (Williams Grove Speedway) & guests; presented by www.hoseheads.com

Fri., 11 a.m. – “Old-Time Announcers Reunion” with host Dave Van Patten (NSCA) & guests: George Rogerson & George “Skip” Nelson

Fri., 1 p.m. – To Be Announced (TBA)
