World of Outlaw LMS Set to Invade Davenport Speedway
Late Models will battle on the quarter-mile

MAQUOKETA, Iowa (May 8, 2007) - The best dirt late model racers in America are headed to the Davenport Speedway. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series comes to town, to race on the quarter-mile oval, Wednesday, May 9th.

World of Outlaw stars Shane Clanton, Chub Frank, Steve Francis, Rick Eckert, Clint Smith, and Josh Richards are expected to be on hand for the event. Also at the event will be the current WoO LMS point leader, Shannon Babb of Moweaqua, Illinois and local favorite Brian Birkhofer of Muscatine.

Pit gates are scheduled to open at 4:30 p.m. and spectator gates will be unlocked at 5 p.m. Hot laps are set for 6 p.m. and qualifying will follow at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets for the program, which also includes a 25-lap feature for the V-8 Modifieds paying $750 to win, are $25 for adults and $10 for children 7-12. Pit passes will be $35.
