Rules for $1,000.00 to Win IMCA Modified Race 9-23-2007
ODESSA, MO (Sept 17) – I-70 Speedway Officials have set the rules for the 
$1,000.00 IMCA Modified race that will be the conclusion of World Cup Weekend 
2007. The race will be conducted under IMCA Modified rules with the following 
exceptions.
In addition to the published IMCA Modified engine rules, I-70 Speedway will 
allow the following exceptions. Any roller configuration, cam and/or rockers 
will be allowed, with the addition of 50 lbs, mounted in front of the motor 
plate. Engines with accessories driven off the back of the engine will also be 
allowed, by adding another 50 lbs. of weight to the car. i.e. an engine with any 
roller component and any accessory driven off the back of the engine must have 
an additional 50 lbs. of weight mounted in front of the motor plate plus, 
another 50 lbs of weight added to the car else ware. This makes the minimum 
weight of the car, with the driver, after the race, 2,550 pounds. As stated in 
the IMCA rules; No weights and/or loose objects in driver compartment or outside 
the body. Weights must be securely mounted to the frame or roll cage and painted 
white with the car number on it. All weights must be attached with at least two 
.5 inch bolts. No titanium, magnesium or carbon fiber products. No gun-drilled, 
tubular, hollow bolts or studs. Use of steel fasteners for mounting weight only.
In regards to tires; IMCA Hoosier’s and the American Racer G60 will be the only 
tires allowed. Grooving and sipping of tires will not be allowed.
Race procedure will be as follows: All drivers should be checked in at the I-70 
Speedway Pit Shack by 2:30 pm. Qualifying heat races will be lined up according 
to each drivers draw. There will be a 6 to 8 car pole dash (based on car count) 
to determine the first 3 or 4 rows starting positions. If necessary, a B 
Feature(s) will be run and the A Feature will consist of the top 22 qualified 
cars. The A Feature event will be 25 laps.
Pay out for the Sunday afternoon event will be: 1-$1,000.00, 2-$600.00, 
3-$400.00, 4-$300.00, 5-$225.00, 6-$200.00, 7-$160.00, 8-$150.00, 9-$130.00, 
10-$120.00, 11-$110.00, 12-$90.00, 13-$80.00, 14th to 22nd $75.00.
