MACON SPEEDWAY THIS WEEK – DRIVER/SPONSOR APPRECIATION

MACON, IL (April 25) - Macon Speedway played host to 130 cars and a full grandstand on Saturday night, April 21. The racing program was rapid and action-packed, setting the tone for the 2007 season at the fast 1/5 mile. This Saturday, April 28, fans get the opportunity to meet their favorite local drivers and take home autographs and pictures.
Weekly racing at Macon Speedway features five UMP sanctioned divisions: Late Model, Modified, Sportsman, Street Stock and Hornet. New for 2007 is the addition of the C.A.R.S. Late Models.
On Saturday, April 28, gates at Macon Speedway will open at 5:00 PM. Racing starts at 7:00.
General Admission is $10.00 for weekly races at Macon Speedway. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Pit admission is $25. Reserved seats are still available. Contact the Speedway at 217-764-3000 for more information.
Mark your calendars: 
Advance reserved seat tickets for NASCAR Nights I and II and III (May 28, June 
14 and July 20) will go on sale May 1. On May 5, a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is 
planned and it will be the first night of Kids Club activities at Macon 
Speedway. May 5 will be the first of Kenny’s Krazy Kar Kapers. A lucky fan will 
win a previously-owned Chevrolet vehicle sponsored by Ewing Auto Sales. May 12 
is Meridian School night honoring the students and faculty of the Meridian 
School District plus special attention to our Mom’s and a Crazy Chicks n Cars 
ladies race in the Hornet cars. NASCAR Night I on May 28 features the Northern 
All Stars Late Model Series and NASCAR Stars Clint Bowyer, Kevin Harvick, Ken 
Schrader and Kenny Wallace will be in attendance. 
NASCAR Stars Kenny Wallace, Ken Schrader, Tony Stewart and local Promoter Bob 
Sargent purchased Macon Speedway in January of 2007.

$100,000 Contingency Connection program for the 2007 season. Macon Speedway is
