More Hobby Stock awards added to Engine Pro IMCA package

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (March 23) – The creation of two regions for Hobby Stocks adds new contingencies to the Engine Pro package for IMCA
drivers.

The Wheat Ridge, Colo.-based internal engine parts wholesaler group will award more than $6,000 in prod uct/service certificate amounts this season, based on regional Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock stand ings.

Top eligible driver in all five Modified regions, both Stock Car regions and both Hobby Stock regions receive $300 product certificates, with $200 to the runners-up and $100 for third.

Tenth and 20th place eligible drivers earn $50 certifi­cates. Drivers in each class accepting the most engine claims this season also receive complete claimer en gine kits.

All drivers must provide proof of purchase of Engine Pro products; Modified drivers are also required to display two Engine Pro decals on their race car.

“The complete list of participating machine shops is listed on the Engine Pro website, and many IMCA members are already using those shops for parts purchases or machine work,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “I remind everyone to keep those receipts until season’s end to make themselves eligible for significant discounts when they go back for additional service next winter.”
