LEBANON, Mo. (April 21) -  The Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series got in their seconds points race of the season at Lebanon Midway Speedway on Saturday evening April 21. Twenty-eight Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series cars made the event at the well-maintained Midway Speedway.

Conner Ward, Kevin Henson, Leslie Essary and Roger Wilson took heat race wins. Jimmy Greenway came away with the B feature win.

Twenty-two cars strong lined up for the A main with Darrin Barton on the pole. Justin Well’s bad luck at West Plains paid off for him this weekend with a low point average, giving him the outside front row starting position.

Barton led the first lap, with Wells taking the lead on lap 2 and holding on until the end. It was not, however, an easy win. Leslie Essary started in the 9th position and worked his way to the 2nd position midway through the race. The 25 lap race saw 5 cautions, never allowing for Wells to get a big lead. After the final caution with just a few laps to go, Wells and Essary caught lap cars they had t work through coming to the checkers and Wells was able to pull it off just by a nose.

Ken Essary finished 3rd, Rick Lebow in 4th, and a great run for Jeremy Kelley rounding out the top 5.

This weekend will be a double header for the Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series with a Friday night show at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, KS and a Saturday night make-up race at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK. Both events will be $1000 to win and $300 to start.
