Culbertson Speedway Sets Schedule

CULBERTSON, NE (Feb. 24, 2007) - Jim Lewis and Culbertson Speedway, L. L. C. have come up with the schedule for the 2007 racing season for Culbertson Speedway. The track will again run on Friday nights, with the exception of a Sunday show on opening day, April 1, and a Tuesday show on July 3. Unless Mother Nature has an April Fools joke set for the high banked, 3/8 mile track, the gates of Culbertson Speedway will open at noon, CDT, and the races will start at 2 PM, CDT on April 1. The other dates will all have races starting at 8 PM, CDT, with the gates opening at 6 PM, CDT.

The International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) will again sanction the Modifieds, Stock Cars, and Hobby Stocks. The Classic Modifieds and Mini Truck classes, which have local sanctioning control, will race as well. Gradstand admission prices are $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 6 - 12, and free for children 5 and under. Pit passes are $20.00. Culbertson Speedway is on the Hitchcock County Fairgrounds on the east side of Culbertson, Nebraska. Those grounds are .3 mile south of US Highway 6 and 34 on Railroad Street.
