I-70 Speedway Reschedules Opening Night

ODESSA, MO  (April 6, 2007) - With below normal temperatures for the past few days and a prediction of even colder weather for Saturday, officials at I-70 Speedway have cancelled this weekends opening event for the asphalt track. “We will simply push every thing back by a week for opening night”, were the words from I-70 owner, Brad McDonald. “I don’t think our drivers would be comfortable let alone our fans” adds McDonald.

So, with that said, the first race on the pavement at I-70 will be held on Saturday night April 14th. On the program will be the ASA Late Models, Super Trucks, Super Stocks, Dash Cars and Enduroes. Pit Gate will open at 3:00, Admission Gates will open at 5:00 with hot laps at 6:00 pm and racing will start promptly at 7:30. Admission for adults (12 & up) is $12.00, children (6 to 11) $5.00 with children 5 or under admitted for free.
