Track Schedules

MOBERLY, MO (July 12) - The Firecracker Forty scheduled for tonight, July 12, has been POSTPHONED to tomorrow night, Sunday July 13, due to the rain at 24 Raceway, Moberly, MO. Start times will be moved up 2 hours w/ race time now at 5pm. Gates will open at 2pm with hot laps at 4:15.

Two classes; A-mods and LateModels, all as a Special Sunday Night of racing with two 40 lap features!! Both the A-modifieds AND the LateModels of the MLRA (Midwst LateModel Racing Association) are still coming to Moberly for this big Summer Combo event And both the A-modifieds AND the LateModels of the MLRA are sponosored by L&J Development. They're located in Moberly on North Avenue, doing residential and commercial building in Moberly and the greater Randolph County area. As a finale, that big fireworks show, sponsored by J&M Displays out of Yarmouth, Iowa is now in store after the events on Sunday night.

The Fan Appreciation Night event sheduled for Sunday night, July 13th has been CANCELED and will be rescheduled for later in August. Watch for a rescheduled date later in the season with that same deal as was originally set up for the event.

July 13 (rescheduled yet again!) - L&J Development sponsors the Firecraker Forty for A-modifieds together w/ the MLRA (Midwest LateModel Racing Assoc.) beginning at 5pm. And still with a Big Fireworks show following the races!!!
July 19 - Bob Whithead Memorial w/ Winged Outlaw Warriors' 360 cubic inch Sprints, sponsored by Best Western
July 26 - B-Modifieds mechanic's race - following the weekly racing program

Admission for the July 13 Sunday special event is $18 to the grandstand for adults, with kids, ages 6 to 12, still only $5 to see the races and the fireworks show to follow. Rates for the Family Pass are $40 which includes admission to the grandstands for 2 adults and 3 children, ages 6 to 12. Kids under 6 are always free. The grandstands will open at 2 p.m. Hot laps will begin at 4:15 following a short drivers' meeting. "Dirt Track Racing at its Best" will take place twice this weekend at 24 Raceway, east of Moberly, Missouri on U.S. Highway 24. This is always a good one with only the two classes competing for a full night of very exciting racing. And whoever out there is still doing that rain dance - you can stop it.
