BURLINGTON, IA (April 18, 2011) – Mother Nature forced the cancellation of racing action at 34 Raceway last weekend but the action will come back Saturday, April 23 with the excitement and anticipation of the Midwest Open Wheel 410 Outlaw Sprints. Feel the power as the 410 winged warriors, Brian Brown, Terry McCarl, Joey Moughan, Donnie Beechler and more take on the 3/8 high bank of 34 Raceway in their first of two appearances in 2011. The O’Reilly Auto Parts, Monster Energy Drink, Pepsi sponsored MOWA 410 Outlaw Sprint Shootout will kick off with a Drivers Meet-n-Greet at the Burlington O’Reilly’s Auto Part Store from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. with a free lunch and Pepsi products. Then head on out to 34 Raceway for some great 410 sprint racing excitement. The J & J Steel/Ideal Ready Mix IMCA Late Models will be providing their own ground shaking action along with the Mike’s Auto Parts IMCA Stock Cars in their first track points races of the year. Pit gates open 4:00, Grandstands 5:00. Time trials start at 7 p.m. Pit Pass $25, Grandstand Admission $18 Adults, $15 Seniors & Students, Kids 10 and under FREE. 34 Raceway and Jacksonville Speedway joined together in 2011 to create a 4 night series for the 410 sprints, 2 at Jacksonville and 2 at 34 Raceway. The driver who can will all four events at the two tracks will win a total of $13,000.
