34 Raceway Returns to Action, With the Sprint Invaders Making Their Third Stop of the Season

West Burlington, IA (Sunday, August 13, 2017) – After taking a scheduled night off on Saturday, August 12th, 34 Raceway will return to racing action next Saturday, August 19th. This night will bring the Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders back for the third time in 2017.

 

The Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders kicked off their 2017 season at 34 Raceway back on Saturday, April 1st, with 33 cars signed in on that night. Carson McCarl would score the win. Then on Sunday, May 28th the Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders made their second of four scheduled stops at 34 Raceway for the 2017 season. Twenty-six cars were in competition on this night. Chris Martin would cross the finish line in first, but was disqualified in post race tech for an illegal tire. Which handed the win over to Ryan Jamison.

 

Jamie Ball currently holds a slim 6 point lead in the standings over Jon Agan, as the series makes a stop at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa on Friday night before coming to 34 Raceway on Saturday night. While Jarrod Schneiderman, Harold Pohren, and Ben Wagoner round out the top 5 in the current standings. Expect those drivers, along with Josh Schneiderman, Ryan Jamison, Tanner Gebhardt, John Greenwood, Nate VanHaaften, Cody Wehrle, Brayden Gaylord, John Schulz, Justin Buchholz, Rob Weuve, Dave Getchell, and many more to be in action on the night.

 

Also joining the Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders at 34 Raceway will be the Victory Lane Suspension IMCA Modifieds, Pepsi IMCA Stock Cars, Casebine Credit Union IMCA SportMods, and the Crazy Coyote Mini Hauler Trucks. As the chase for the 2017 track championships continue, with just three weeks of racing left to crown those champions. The will be NO track registration required for the Modifieds, Stock Cars, SportMods, and Mini Hauler Trucks.

 

Pit gates will open at 4 PM, the grandstands at 5 PM, hot laps at 6:30 PM, and racing at 7 PM. Grandstand admission will be $18 for adults and seniors (60+), students $12, with kids 10 & under FREE! Modified, Stock Car, and SportMod drivers and 1 pit crew member pit passes will be $25, along with Mini Hauler Truck drivers only pit pass being $25. All other pit passes will be $35.
