Flooding cancels weekend at Adams County Speedway

CORNING, IA (June 5) - Mother Nature really outdid herself this time as heavy rains have left the Adams County Speedway completely under water. For the seventh time in nine weeks the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series has been forced to be cancelled.

The amount of draining and cleaning necessary to get ready for this weekend would not be possible and hopefully, the facility can be refurbished in time for the MLRA late model show on the 14th of June. The infield tower and concession stand is under around 7 feet of water and the grandstand concession stand remains at around 3 to 4 feet deep. Please go to www.acspeedway.com for details through the week to see if we will be ready for next week’s show.
