Kyle Beard To Enter MSRA Arkansas Double Shot
TRUMANN, AR (April 6, 2010) - After being sidelined by Mother Nature for the
past two weekends, Kyle Beard will return to action in his #86 GRT By
Frye/Samuels Performance Racing Engine Super Late Model this weekend in a
pair of COMP Cams MSRA events.
Kyle and Beard Motorsports were last in action on Saturday night, March 20th
at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama for round #2 of the P.R.O.
Dirt Car Super Late Model tour vs. the NeSmith Super Dirt Car tour.
Twenty-six Super Late Models entered the event, and the night got off to a
great start for Beard, who qualified second fastest in his group to lock
into the fourth starting spot for the 40 lap, main event. As the feature
went green, Kyle assumed the fourth position as he began battling David
Breazeale for third. Near disaster struck for Beard on the seventh circuit,
when he partially slipped off the turn one banking as he tried to get to the
highside of the race track. He would get back on track, but not before he
fell back to the 18th position. Despite losing several spots, Kyle did not
give up and began a march back through the field that saw him come all the
way back to the 7th spot by the time that the checkered flag waved!
With the first two events in the books, Kyle is currently 5th in the P.R.O.
Dirt Car Series standings and 5th in the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series
standings.
This weekend, April 9th-10th, Kyle will enter the opening events for the
2010 COMP Cams MSRA tour. On Friday night he will be in action at Beebe
Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas in a $2,000 to win/$300 to start, 30 lap event
around the ¼ mile. Kyle is a former feature winner at Beebe Speedway and
looks forward to returning on Friday night.
On Saturday night, the team will travel to Riverside International Speedway
in West Memphis, Arkansas for the Spring Fling 40, which has a posted purse
that includes $2,000 to win and $400 to start.
