Billy Moyer Jr. Scores Pair of Top 5’s; Busy Weekend On Tap 

BATESVILLE, AR (August 31, 2010) - Billy Moyer Jr. is coming off a weekend where he drove his #21jr Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to a pair of top five finishes. 

Billy entered the $2,000 to win, 30 lap COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model event at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas on Friday night. After winning his heat race, Moyer Jr. started third in the grid in the feature. He would run in the third spot during the event's early stages and would eventually work his way past Jon Mitchell for the second spot. He would challenge Wendell Wallace for the lead for the rest of the event before settling for a second place finish. With his second place finish, Moyer Jr. also claimed a $1,000 bonus from RiceTec for accumulating the most points in the RiceTec Summer Showdown.  Full results are available at www.MSRADirt.com . 

Saturday night found the team at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri for a $3,000 to win event, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series. After struggling in heat race action, Moyer Jr. found the right setup and won his b-main to start 15th in the feature. He would rocket through the starting grid in the feature event to claim a fifth place finish behind winner, Dave Eckrich, Brandon McCormick, RC Whitwell, and Mark Burgtorf.  Full results are available at www.MLRARacing.com . 

This weekend will enter a trio of events over the course of the Labor Day weekend.  Festivities will get underway on Friday and Saturday, September 3^rd-4^th with a pair of Isle of Capri Crate Late Model Series Presented By Bad Boy Mowers events at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas.  On Friday night a $1,500 to win event will be held, and on Saturday night a $2,000 to win event will be on tap.  Billy has won three races in the series and despite not competing in all of the events, remains third in the standings with only this weekend’s events remaining.  For more information, please visit www.BatesvilleMotorSpeedway.net .
