Brian Brown – FVP Team Excited for Malden and 2011!

(Bill W) March 17, 2011 – Brian Brown and the Brian Brown Racing FVP #21 team have reason to celebrate.  After agreeing to an extension in their partnership with FVP, they are ready to race again this Saturday night at the Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri with the 360 USCS series.

This is the fourth year that Brian has been involved with Factory Motor Parts, and the second full season representing the FVP product.  “I’m really excited that we’ll be with FVP for many years to come,” he says.  “Everyone at FVP, Factory Motor Parts and SPLASH has been great to work with and they have treated us like family”.  Their company just continues to grow.  It’s an honor to represent their employees and customers and I’m tickled they want to be apart of Brian Brown Racing in the future.”

Senior Director of Marketing for Factory Motor Parts, Joel Quetschenbach is excited about another great season of racing.  “The entire FVP family is very excited to extend our partnership with Brian Brown Racing,” he says.  “This year and for the years to come, we have decided to expand the race schedule that will allow us to reach more of our FMP markets across the country and more importantly give many more of our customers the chance to purchase our FVP products and come out to the races and cheer Brian on.  Brian has become part of our family over the past few years and we look forward to many more years to come in this partnership. Brian does a great job at all of our functions of interacting with our customers and also at the tracks with the race fans.”

FVP offers a full line of high quality oil, air, cabin air and fuel filters, plus a complete line of high quality batteries for multiple applications including cars, trucks, SUV’s, commercial and other specialty vehicles.  “As the diesel fuel and everything gets higher in racing, you have to align yourself with great partners,” says Brown. “They enable you to go out and represent them.  We’re able to run 75 shows in fifteen states and are probably able to touch more potential customers than most if not all of their salesmen.  We have to make sure we are educating the fans and potential customers about the benefits of using FVP products.”

It will be the Grain Valley, Missouri driver’s first trip to Malden.  “We’re excited to get back on the track this weekend after running Vegas last week,” says Brian.  “We’re running in Malden for the first time ever.  I’ve heard good things about it being slick and racy.  USCS will be in town, and they always bring a lot of good cars.  I’m sure Terry Gray, (Tim) Crawley, Jerrod Hull, Marshall Skinner and others will be in town.  You never know who is going to pop up this time of year.”

It will be the first race of the year in Brian’s home state, and he will be showing off the FVP colors on the car and trailer there for the first time.  “Obviously, I’m very happy to be a part of what they are doing,” he says.  “I’m hoping that this is just the start of a relationship that will be here for years to come.  I feel if we go out and do our job as a race team by winning races and representing them well by returning our end of the bargain, we can do that.  It’s a two-way street, and I look forward to representing FVP for a long time to come.”

The FVP Racing Team remains on the cutting edge of social media as well.  “Anyone who wants to follow us in 2011 can follow us LIVE on Twitter and Facebook (see links below),” says Brian.  “GoPro has also provided us with an inboard camera, so people will be seeing some of that action as well.  The social media outlets are a great way to follow what’s going on with our team.”
