J & J Steel continues sponsorship of Ironman Challenge for Deery drivers

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (April 5) – The J & J Steel Ironman Challenge returns to the opening night program at the biggest event on the 2011 Deery Brothers Summer Series schedule.

Drivers with perfect attendance through the first 15 IMCA Late Model tour events of the season square off in the Friday, Sept. 2 show at 34 Raceway, during the Pepsi USA Nationals. J & J Steel provides the entire point fund for the $750 to win, minimum $200 to start race

"The J & J Steel Ironman Challenge takes on special meaning this year as we originally developed the event with the help of Johnny Johnson as the head of J & J Steel,” said Kevin Yoder, director of marketing for IMCA. “We are really honored to continue this outstanding race through the support of his family and hope we get a record number of drivers to attend every show prior to Labor Day Weekend. It would be a fitting tribute to Johnny's legacy with IMCA Late Model racing."

The West Burlington chassis, race car parts and accessories retailer will also give a $100 product certificate to the hard charger at each tour race this season. Certificates will be mailed within a week of each event throughout the 25th annual tour.

J & J Steel is in its 21st season as an IMCA sponsor; information about chassis and parts is available by calling 319 754-4310.
