Quad City Deery rained out after heats

EAST MOLINE, Ill. (April 17) – Wet weather was 3-for-3 over the weekend, as Sunday’s Deery Brothers Summer Series program at Quad City Speedway was rained out after heat races were completed.

Track officials are hoping to reschedule the IMCA Late Model tour event, which would start over from scratch.

Also KO’d by inclement weather were shows Friday at Davenport Speedway and Saturday at Jack­son County Speedway.

Thirty-nine cars were entered at East Moline. Heat winners were Shawn Mulvany, Matt Ryan, Dan Shelliam and defending tour champion Ray Guss Jr.

Quad City Speedway is also scheduled to host the final event of the 25^th anniversary series Sept. 24-25.
