Performance Bodies program sports awards for IMCA drivers in six divisions

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (Feb. 7) – Drivers in six IMCA divisions earn shares of more than $18,000 in contingency awards to be given again this season by Performance Bodies.

Modified, Late Model, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod, Southern SportMod, Stock Car and Hobby Stock competi­tors will receive awards based on final national, regional or special series standings. The Cedar Falls race car body manufacturer and automotive parts retailer also returns as a sponsor of rookie of the year awards in the SportMod, Stock and Hobby divisions.

The top five drivers in final point standings and top three rookies in each of the five Modified regions receive a spruce-up special package, which includes two doors and two quarter panels valued at $219, or $100 product certificate. All Modified drivers are required to display two Performance Bodies decals on their race cars to be eligible.

Top five finishers in national standings and rookies of the year in both SportMod classes earn the spruce-up special or a $100 product certificate, Top 10 drivers in the Deery Brothers Summer Series for Late Models, the top 10 in both Stock Car regions and the national Stock Car and Hobby Stock rookies of the year earn nose­piece and headlight decal kits.

Each of the top 10 drivers in the two regions for Hobby Stocks receive nosepiece and headlight decal kits valued at $135.

Reg­istration forms for SportMod and Hobby Stock rookies will be published in the point section of the monthly In­side IMCA newsletter and posted on the IMCA website. The deadline for submitting those forms to the IMCA home of­fice is Aug. 1.
