Harris Clash special July 17 at Knoxville Raceway KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 7) – First place pays $2,000 in the Thursday, July 17 Harris Clash for IMCA Modifieds at Knoxville Raceway. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are also on the program for the 17th annual event, with the winner of that feature earning $500. IMCA national and Smiley’s Racing Products State points will be awarded in both divisions. Home region points will be given for the Modifieds. Twenty-eight cars will comprise the Modified grid, which pays a minimum of $200 to start. The winner will also join the ballot for the 2009 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. on race day and the draw closes at 6:05 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with the first heat race at 7:15 p.m. Pit passes are $25 and no one under the age of 16 will be allowed in the pit area. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $3 for kids 5-15; children four and under will be admitted free.
