10-year sponsor TCI continues awards in IMCA Stock, Hobby, SportMod divisions

ASHLAND, Miss. (Feb. 28) – TCI Automotive renews a contingency award program benefiting drivers in four divisions, in its 10th consecutive season as an IMCA sponsor.

Top five drivers in national standings for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Southwest Racing Specialties Southern SportMods receive product certificates worth $500, $250, $125, $100 and $50, respectively.

All Stock Car state champions earn $150 product certificates.

The Ashland, Miss., manufacturer will also give a transmission and torque converter to the first non-qualifier for the Northern SportMod feature at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals, and to the first non-qualifier at the Southern SportMod Nationals.

Drivers must compete with a TCI-made transmission, valve body or pump drive (or torque converter for Hobby Stocks), display two TCI decals on their race car and return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1 to be eligible.

Information about TCI-made products is available by calling 662 224-8972 and at the www.tciauto.com website.

"The products that TCI offers for our racers are high quality and continue to keep drivers like national Southern SportMod champion Keith White in victory lane,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “With a decade of IMCA support to lean on, I recommend that racers take a hard look at what they have to offer when making their next transmission purchase."
