LUBBOCK, Texas - A third IMCA division joins the weekend race program for Lady Luck Speedway's Beat The Heat special Friday and Saturday, March 12-13. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are new, joining IMCA Modifieds and Southwest Racing Specialties Southern SportMods. All applicable points will be given for each draw/redraw show. Modifieds race for $500 to win on Friday and for $700 to win on Saturday. Top checks for Southern SportMods are $400 on Friday and $600 on Saturday, and Stocks are in the running for $350 to win on Friday and $450 to win on Saturday. Grandstand admission both nights is $7 for adults, $3 for kids 7-12 and free for youngsters six and under. Pit passes are $30 for drivers, $20 for crew members and fans six and over, and $10 for five and under. An open practice session runs from noon-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 6.
