Benton County Speedway hosts Hogan Memorial on Sunday

VINTON, Iowa (July 5) – The winner of the Hogan Memorial can more than double their money with a long run at the front of the IMCA Modified feature field this Sunday, July 11 at Benton County Speedway.

The headline event pays $1,250 to win and another $50 for each of the 40 laps led, plus another $250 to the leader at midway, making for a potential payoff of $3,500. The winner will be added to the ballot for the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.

National, ButlerBuilt North Central Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded. A mandatory caution will be thrown for a five minute break midway through the feature, with all cars stopping on the frontstretch.

The winner also goes home with a Hoosier race tire and all feature qualifiers will be entered in a drawing for a barrel of methanol from Fauser Oil. A minimum of $110, including sponsor money, will be paid to make the feature. Robison Trucking and the Ron-Da-Voo Lounge will give a $450 hard charger award.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts will vie for all applicable IMCA points.

The Ron-Da-Voo will also give $125 hard charger awards in the Stock Car and Northern SportMod mains.
