16 IMCA Modified, Late Model track champs earn 2011 licenses from SuperFlow

DES MOINES, Iowa (Jan. 31) – A dozen IMCA Modified track champions and four IMCA Late Model track kings from last season will receive 2011 competitor’s licenses from SuperFlow.

All became eligible for their respective awards by having engine work done at an engine builder or machine shop with a SuperFlow dyno.

Modified track champions included George Ashby, Sweetwater Speedway; Josh Gilman, Stuart Speedway; Jimmy Gustin, Marshalltown Speedway; Larry Hood, Victorville Auto Raceway; Jeremy Mills, Algona Raceway; Nate Moore, Sherman County Speedway; Cory Sample, Winnemucca Regional Raceway; Jason Schoenberger, WaKeeney Speedway; Johnny Saathoff, Eagle Raceway; and Tim Ward, Canyon Speedway Park (all at JR Motorsports); Eric Dailey, Fairmont Raceway (at Grawmondbecks); and Corey Lagroon, Minneapolis Raceway (at Advanced Engine Machine).

Late Model track champions were Tyler Bruening, Independence Motor Speedway, and Andy Eckrich, West Liberty Raceway (both at Grove Automotive Machine);  and Todd Cooney, Iowa State Fair Speedway, and Darrel DeFrance, Hamilton County Speedway (both at JR Motorsports).

Gustin and Ray Guss Jr. also qualified for new licenses courtesy of SuperFlow by virtue of their IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals championships last September. Guss raced to his second straight Super Nationals Late Model crown last September.

“The program grew this year not only in the number of licenses issued, but in the number of different engine builders represented in the total,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “SuperFlow makes a very reliable and efficient line of products and their 2010 support of Modified and Late Model members is paying off in 2011."
