Petersen Aluminum starting 10^th season as award sponsor for IMCA Late Model series

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (Feb, 14) – Ten is the number to note this season for Petersen Aluminum, in providing contin­gency awards for Deery Brothers Summer Series drivers.

The Elk Grove, Ill., manufacturer reaches its 10^th year as an award sponsor for the IMCA Late Model tour. The cham­pion and rookie of the year, as well as the winner of the Sept. 5 event during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nation­als, all receive 10 sheets aluminum.

Two Petersen Aluminum decals must be displayed on the race car for drivers to be eligible. Those decals will be avail­a­ble during pre-race tech inspection at all events in the 25^th anniversary tour.

Ray Guss Jr. won his career first Deery Series title in 2010 while repeating as champion at Super Nationals. Andy Eckrich raced to rookie of the year honors.
