Cenex to fuel IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (April 21) – IMCA has announced that Cenex will be presenting sponsor for the 2011 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.

As part of the sponsorship, Cenex Premium Diesel Fuel and Gasoline will power the tractors and equipment for prepping – or farming – the track between races at Boone Speedway Sept. 5-10.

“We’re proud to become presenting sponsor of this event,” explained Dale Boeckman, CHS Energy district manager. “Racing is a popular, family-friendly event. Plus, Iowa and other states represented at Super Nationals are home to many loyal Cenex customers. The heavy-duty tractors farming the track are a great way to showcase our products.”

Boeckman is no stranger to IMCA racing. He was the 1994 Hobby Stock champion at Buena Vista Raceway and has competed in both the Stock Car and Hobby Stock divisions at Super Nationals. His nephew, Andy Boeckman, is a four-time Super Nationals Hobby Stock champion.

An average of seven farming sessions will be held each night during Super Nationals. Cenex Premium Diesel Fuels and Gasoline will power the tractors, water trucks, grader and packing vehicles, as well as the jet dryer if need be, that take to the track during America’s Racin’ Vacation.

“The partnership is a win-win,” explained IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “We’re cognizant of product quality and Cenex fuels are the clear choice for our equipment.”

“Additionally, the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals has a large footprint in the agricultural community, beginning with the rural Iowa setting and highlighted by the nightly farming sessions with the fleet of John Deere tractors,” Yoder continued. “Through our new partnership with Cenex, we hope to deepen the connection with everyone in the ag community represented in the stands or the pit area. We are proud to be associated with Cenex and their team of employees across the Midwest."

Cenex will have a booth on Manufacturers’ Row throughout the week.

“Drivers and fans are invited to stop by and learn more about the product line, including Ruby Fieldmaster® Premium Diesel Fuel,” Boeckman said. “It outperforms standard diesel, thanks to its multifunctional additive package including detergents, injection stabilizer, lubricity improver, demulsifiers, storage stabilizer, corrosion inhibitor and high (typical 48) cetane number.”

Headquartered in Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Cenex is a brand of CHS.  The company operates petroleum refineries/pipelines and manufactures, markets and distributes Cenex brand refined fuels, lubricants, propane and renewable energy products at more than 1,400 branded retail locations in the United States.
