Larry Shaw Racing continues title sponsor role for IMCA Blood, Sweat & Tears series

BATESVILLE, Ark. (April 28) – Two special series for IMCA Modifieds will run under the Larry Shaw Racing banner again this season.

The Batesville, Ark., chassis manufacturer will provide the $3,000 point fund to be divided among top 10 drivers in points for separate Colorado and Kansas tours.

The Colorado BST schedule starts with the $3,000 to win Spring Shootout at Lamar Speedway on May 13-14. RPM Speedway in Hays hosts the Kansas tour opener on June 17.

Both series have seven dates before concluding with the Sept. 23-24 Flatlander at Sherman County Speedway in Goodland, Kan.

IMCA national, ButlerBuilt Central Region, Allstar Performance State and special series points will be give at each BST race. All series events paying $1,000 or more to win are qualifiers for 2011 or 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballots.

Point fund checks will be distributed during the national banquet in November or mailed in early December.

Drivers qualifying for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals or Duel In The Desert main events in a Shaw-made chassis receive $100 gift certificates. The Super Nationals champion gets a new chassis if they piloted a Shaw car.

Information about Shaw-manufactured chassis is available by calling 870 251-2966 and at the www.larryshaw.com website.

“The support IMCA has received from Larry Shaw Racing has been nothing short of outstanding and really what you hope to achieve when partnering with a title sponsor,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “When you work with good people, it is easy to see your relationship lasting well into the future."
