QA1 continues awards program for five IMCA divisions

LAKEVILLE, Minn. (May 10, 2011) – IMCA drivers in five divisions competing with QA1 Motorsports shocks earn contingency awards from the Lakeville, Minn., manufacturer again this season.

Recipients will be determined on the basis of official regional standings for the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, and on national standings for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Chassis Southern SportMods.

Product certificate prizes in each of the five Modified regions are $350 for first, $250 for second, $200 for third, $150 for fourth and $100 for fifth.

Top three finishers in both Stock Car regions, both Hobby Stock regions and in national points for the two SportMod classes receive $350, $250 and $150.

Drivers must compete with four QA1 shocks, display two QA1 decals on their race car and return a completed sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1 to be eligible.

Information about QA1 products is available by calling 800 721-7761 and at the www.qa1.net website.

"The increase in participation for this program the past few years can be directly attributed to two factors, the broadened eligibility from QA1 and the successful development of their shocks and springs,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “This combination has resulted in more drivers winning races and I expect that trend to continue in 2011."
