IMCA cash bonuses from Bushore total $1,500

BOONE, Iowa (Dec. 14) – IMCA drivers competing with Bushore Racing Enterprises-made transmissions received $1,500 in cash bonuses following the conclusion of the 2011 point season.

Checks for $300 each went to national champions Devin Smith of Lake City, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, and Bryan LaRiviere of Wichita, Kan., Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, and to Probe Industries Northern Region champion Jason Schoenberger of Gorham, Kan., IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars.

Recipients of $200 each were national runners-up Shannon Anderson of Atlantic in the Hobby Stocks and Jesse Sobbing of Glenwood in the Northern SportMods, and Northern Region runner-up Mike Nichols of Harlan in the Stocks.

Located in Boone, Bushore marked its 20th season as an IMCA sponsor this year and has given cash awards since 1998.

“Bill Bushore has supported this organization and our drivers competing with a Bushore Powerglide transmission with cash or contingency awards for two decades,” noted IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder.

“The highest finishing driver with a Bushore transmission in the Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod main events at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Cenex also receive cash awards,” Yoder continued, “so Bushore’s support is pretty significant for a number of drivers.”
