THIS WEEK AT MACON SPEEDWAY, AUGUST 9 MACON, IL (August 9) - This weekend Macon Speedway will host all 5 UMP divisions; Chevrolet Late Models, Barbeck Communications Modifieds, Hogan Grain/Kubota Sportsman, Street Stocks and Pro & Amateur Hornets. Also on the card for this weekend will be a Street Stock Special with the winner taking home $400. Macon Speedway welcomes the Macon County Farm Bureau on Saturday night and get your chance to win the final Kenny’s Car Giveaway this Saturday night! You won’t want to miss your final chance to win a used car courtesy of Decatur Used Cars. Adult tickets are $10 and children 12 & under are free with gates opening at 5 pm; Chevrolet UMP Late Models will qualify at 7:00 pm. UPCOMING EVENTS: August15-National Midget Race to be held the night before the Illinois State Fair Springfield Mile race August 16-Herald & Review 100 featuring a 100 Lap UMP Late Model feature paying $6,000 and also featuring UMP Modifieds and UMP Street Stocks August 19- Northern Allstars Late Models with special guests NASCAR Stars Ken Schrader, Kenny Wallace, Kevin Harvick & Jimmy Spencer. The night will also feature UMP Modifieds and UMP Street Stocks August 23-Lite Beer Twin 50’s featuring a 50 Lap UMP Late Model feature paying $1,500 and a 50 Lap UMP Modified feature paying $750 Sept 3-Northern Allstar Late Models, Modifieds & Street Stocks with special guest NASCAR Star Tony Stewart Tickets are on sale now for the August 19 & September 3 Nights of Nascar Stars, adults are $25 and children 12 & under are $5. Gates will open at 3 pm with autograph sessions taking place from 4:30 – 5:30 pm. Racing will begin at 6:30 pm. |
